icecast logs looks like - - [10/Apr/2003:15:52:02 +0200] "GET /radio-itinerante.ogg HTTP/1.0" 200 28192 "-" "Wget/1.8.1" 11 - - [10/Apr/2003:15:57:38 +0200] "GET /radio-itinerante.ogg HTTP/1.1" 200 58957 "-" "QuickTime (qtver=FU1-6.0;cpu=PPC;os=Mac 10.2)" 53 - - [10/Apr/2003:16:01:17 +0200] "SOURCE /radio-itinerante.ogg HTTP/1.0" 200 14573858 "-" "IceS 2.0beta2" 4733

o for each line, we know:
[10/Apr/2003:15:52:02 +0200] timestamp of end of listening or source disconnection
"GET its a listener
"SOURCE its a source
/radio-itinerante.ogg stream name
28192 bytes transfered. 28192 bytes/26000bitspersecond=9 seconds
"QuickTime (qtver=FU1-6.0;cpu=PPC;os=Mac 10.2)" use agent

o we don't know listener connection timestamp, only deconnection.
I think this is logging if CLF format, compatible with apache log format, usable by webalizer, awstats and others...
But perhaps an option can be added to have client connection timestamp logged...

(user agent, not use agent)

Why it is so important for you to have connection timestamp? I'd like to know...
