This is call for volunteers to try out some modifications to icecast for
supporting burst on connection (aka fast pre-buffering).

Your existing icecast.xml configuration file should have the same
behaviour as CVS is now ie no bursting, only when you add the
<burst-size> tags (specified in bytes) in the <limits> section should
the burst behaviour be seen.

All other functionality should be available but feedback would be much
appreciated.
