Yay! I went to Glasgow uni many years ago!

Anyway...
This sounds supisciously close to what I developed for
myplay.com - for efficiency purposes we used oracle
for data indexing and more traditional filesystem for
data storage. Never mind the fact that it's
financially uneconomical.
