[icecast-dev] re: change to libshout's sock.c

Hello all,

In my previous email, I should have pointed out that the
proposed change to sock.c should work on linux just as 
well as MacOSX, and we would *really* (please, please)
like it to be commited into the code base so as the new,
as yet unreleased version of the SndKit can use it on both 
platforms (see www.musickit.org), which will allow musickit
driven sndkit softsynths to stream mp3's directly onto the 
'Net.
