Hi Silvia and all,

I'm quite looking forward to attend FOMS for the first time!
About your points...

A topic I'd like to discuss are WebRTC gateways. I've been working on
WebRTC stuff for a while, now, and have recently started working on such
a gateway, specifically a general purpose one: that is, one that is not
explicitly targeted at a specific scenario (e.g., a WebRTC-to-SIP
gateway), but one that has a core taking care of the WebRTC protocols
and that you can tailor to your own needs yourself by implementing
server side plugins. A few more or less basic plugins would be
available out of the box, which could be used as they are, extended or
just cast aside and rewritten from scratch.

I have a rough prototype that I'll release as open source (github
probably) as soon as it is in a (much!) better shape, so I'd like to
discuss with other interested folks the challenges I've had to face to
far and the ones that are still along the road.

If anyone is interested in my efforts towards the integration of the
Opus codec in Asterisk (which can be seen as a WebRTC gateway as well,
after all), that's something I'd gladly bring to the table too.

Thanks for the heads up. Do we need to prepare slides for this or are
they not needed?

Great news, thanks!
