[Flac] Converting to 1.1.4, help please!

I wish I could say that I understand this.
Any chance someone could provide a bit more basic instructions?
I know, what a PITA n00b!  
Sorry, but I've rarely worked with command line syntax and I don't want to
hose up my carefully ripped files.
Anyone?
