Very interesting.
Indeed, Dependency Walker shows that flac.exe generated by MinGW
uses two *W functions: CreateFileW and WriteConsoleW.

Then, cpu_part2.patch from http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/flac-dev/2014-March/004577.html
should be discarded (but cpu_part1.patch contains several useful fixes IMO).
