Hi all. My name is Cory. I'm the lead on Ubuntu Studio and as on might
guess I nave an interest in sound and video. :)
I *did* have plans on creating a site about freemedia which lead me to
look for graphic resources from Xiph. This was until I found
http://spreadopenmedia.org. (why didn't you tell me Monty? :P)
Anyway, while on this search I found it odd that these resources weren't
readily available anywhere. I thought for sure the wiki would. So
through hunting around I found a couple of .SVGs and .PDFs I later
pulled the vectors out of. I started messing with them and would like to
put them on the wiki for people but I have questions.
* Why weren't free fonts used? These look like "Adobe Garamond
Regular". Or something along those lines. (reference:
http://people.xiph.org/~xiphmont/logos)
Using this as reference:

* Could a free font be officially adopted? I've used FreeSerif here.
* Are any of these wrong? What are supposed to be official logos for
the various Xiph formats?
Thanx for the time.
