Yes, this is a priority goal we share.

We need a simple universal drag and drop interface, similar to
OggDropXPd for Microsoft Windows, probably based on Qt4. The program
should provide a tiny explanation of what each format is, and then the
user drags and drop a file there, and it gets converted to the
appropriate format. It would in theory work with all of Xiph formats
and maybe a few other OM ones. Something like that.
We also need to make sure that each program in the XO package is ready
to work with Open Media formats, both importing and exporting as the
default. I would like to an audit on this, but without a XO system, I
guess I'll have to resort to emulation.
