Yeah, I remember that, and I'm glad to see the recent good news about
the iRiver demo board that must have been put on yesterday.
Unfortunately, the only link to it on the vorbis.com was a news article
that has now scrolled off the front page.
That page is where I first heard of the whole portable player effort,
and I contacted many of the companies. Apparently, I'm not alone,
iRiver at least heard a lot from people reading the page.
I'm suggesting something linked to by the icons at the top, catering to
someone wondering "Vorbis is cool, will it play on my MP3 player, etc?",
to which we would generally say "Not yet, but it will play on a Zaurus,
Palm, or certain KISS DVD players, and iRiver is working with us to make
a portable player." Naturally the hardware page you mention would be
linked to this page, under "What can I do" or something. Any device
that can play Oggs, as well as iRiver, Frontier Labs (what's going on
with them?) and anyone else helping would get a heading with a short
description, links, progress, etc.
