As always. There's a whole secondary industry geared towards trying
to get people signed up with the content giants, and nothing really
pushing alternatives, apart from the likes of MP3.com

Glad to hear it, although I should point out that I am cheap, and
have been accused of being a journalist.

I agree - we need to take this discussion to the music press. It's
