Don't be so defeatist! I believe Monty wants to make his encoder as
good as possible, and really appreciates your feedback. You have
no doubt spent considerable time doing listening tests. It may be
that you are the only person in the world who can hear a difference,
*but* it may be that you have been the only one to actually speak up!

I also agree with Monty on his points - he has to be thorough in
determining if there is a problem (like his question essentially asking
if there may be artifacts you liked...)  I doubt his questions were
meant to throw you off.

Above all, don't take it personally. Everyone has different hearing,
especially those who prefer WMA. Erk!

By the way, for your tests, were you listening with headphones or
speakers?
