I just went back and saw an earlier comment of mine...

I hope that didn't come across as sounding snarky or anything. I should have added a smilie :-) It was meant to be light-hearted. :-)
But the article did actually give me a good idea for making money off these suckers... It pointed out that when measuring the "directionality" of a cable, you could lay the cable back down on the ground differently (perhaps reducing the distance between cables). Hmm... if I set up a show room with a frequency analyzer I might just get away with this scam. I would just say "what you mean you can't hear the difference, it's right there! and look at the screen!" and make customers all paranoid.
(P.S. if I ever do the above, you can officially shoot me).
