<p>Well my only thoughts here are if you can hear those differences in
phase above 8kHz or so you probably shouldn't be using compression
anyways. Those graphs show how 1.0 uses the notion that most people
can't perceive direction very well above 4kHz (I believe), forget up in
the 10's of kHz. BTW, what quality rate was used for those graphs?
