I'm not sure about that, actually I didn't know that Xiph had released 
any "official" Java code at all.

If you don't have to use the decoder from Xiph, you can find my Vorbis 
decoder on www.j-ogg.de, which supports seeking if you read data from a 
seekable source (a file or a URL with caching enabled).
