I can't reproduce these failures.  I found a whois entry which includes:

>    Domain Name: ILLIMINABLE.COM
>       Created on: 09-JUL-02
>       Expires on: 10-JUL-06
>       Last Updated on: 11-JUL-06

Visiting http://www.illiminable.com/ with a web browser gets you a 
webpage that tries to redirect you to http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/ 
where you can find the Directshow filters.

The domain has an expiration date of yesterday and was last updated 
today.  Perhaps the domain had expired when you looked it up and been 
purchased again afterwards.
