There's a utility called 'vorbiscomment' that's part of the 
commandline vorbis-tools. It works fine on MacOS, but be warned
that it only handles audio-only Ogg Vorbis files, not video. Most 
players will also display at least some of the comments.

Everything but the encoder vendor string is optional, so your files 
might just not have this information.
