[Vorbis] LPC related querry for encoder

Hi all,

I am working on oggvorbis encoder code and had few querries.

1. In the encoder code in preextrapolate helper function LPC is carried out once in the beginning of file and once in end. what is the need for that? if i remove that then also output is not affected. so can it be removed and what difference that would make?

2. does the encoder code works only for stereo or mono also?

3. where to find test vectors for oggvorbis encoder code?
