There's also Foobar 2000 in Windows <www.foobar200.org>, which is a
player capable of a lot of tagging tricks.

(And for the record, in Linux you could use Audio Tag Tool,
<http://pwp.netcabo.pt/paol/tagtool/>, or simply the bash shell.
Although that requires filtering the entire set of comments to
replace the ARTIST entry, and I can't do it of the top of my
head)
