When this happens on the Neuros, it "chirps" quite audibly.  It's not
quite as predictable as one might guess; the "chirps" occur at pretty
random times, which seem to indicate that it depends on other factors
such as whether the disk is being hit, fluctuation in demands of the
FM transmitter, etc., as much as it does on the bitrate.
