For those of you who are new to this list, Segher has made something
of a tradition out of posting code of this nature on April 1 each
year.  He started out by posting an "integer Vorbis decoder" (back before
Tremor existed), which was a patch that essentially did "s/int/float/g"
and "s/long/double/g" on the whole source tree.
