[Vorbis] Does Ogg Vorbis support 5.1 surround?

Wow, thank you all very much! I don't know if this will help, but I
encoded some DVDs to Xvid on my desktop. The program converted the
Surround AC3 to a stereo mp3, and the sound sounds funny. So, I hope
that this will help.

Though this is really irrelevant, I would like to ask this question,
because it is remotely related to what I am doing. Is there any way
to "rip" dvds to your computer without GK. I find it ugly, and a mess
(Maybe because I have no clue what I am doing). Also, it seems as if
the only AC3 file copied from the dvd is the 6 channel one. Even if
the DVD has a stereo track too, it never gives me the option.

Thank you all very much! This only strengthens my views on open
source codecs/standards/software. I bet you wouldn't get this good of
'service' with commercial software!
