When I was rewriting Stefan Bender's title formating patch for xmms, I took
this into account. The printf like formating subroutine has a look to see if
the thing it's formating looks like an integer, a float or a string before it
does it's thing. It should cope.

Vanilla xmms seems to handle it ok, as well.
