[vorbis] Bit peeling available?

Hello, 

I am lurking on this list and didn't have the time to follow up on the
current state of affairs reg. bitstream peeling which was discussed a
couple of months ago.

What is the current state of affairs regarding this (imho very cool and
unique) feature?

I would especially like to know if there are working binaries (both
server and player) that support this feature, or is it too early?
