[vorbis] Why the commotion about file extensions?

I think "Ogg" sounds great when spoken aloud.
That contibuted to it's popularity, people like to say Ogg.
If it rolls of the tounge then its nice.
Most of the users of this (codec / container / file) thing are gonna call it
something.
if it sounds like Initials then people will say it like that.
Ogm is good but how do you say it O.G.M. not easy to remember or say.
"Ogg" sounds brilliant.
It would be a shame to call the codecs something that doesn't roll off the
tounge.
It would make it cold and lose its easy feeling.
