/etc/abcde.conf is a snippet of shell script, and in shell script the
# (hash) character marks a line as a comment. So to uncomment you
just remove the # at the beginning of the line.
You might want to mail me personally on this one, shell scripting 101
probably doesn't belong on the vorbis list.
