Ooops!! I didn't really make that mistake, honest, I just forgot to cut
and paste from Paul's code.  I'm more used to programming under RISC OS,
which has a different pathname structure, e.g.
 IDEFS::HardDisc.$.Internet.Downloads.music/ogg
