Ask not the why, just provide the how.

Personally, I agree with the "handle this in libvorbis" argument.
...just cos it's there doesn't mean we have to see it - the rc2 version
of ogginfo didn't show the serial number of an ogg stream, yet the serial
was there... the rc3 version does. Same deal... just cos it's there doesn't
nescessarily mean it has to be in anyones face.
