Actually, my math did take into account various styles of music.  Did you even
look at the link I provided?  Rachmaninoff to Bing Crosby to Beatles to Fatboy
Slim, Linkin Park and Rage Against the Machine.  I have a hard time believing
even you + your sister + your mother have any more varied tastes than that. 
And I took the average of the space requirements of 149 *different* albums, by
artists all over the genre map. If anything, your average should be lower per
album, since more of my collection is hard music, which takes more bits to
encode on average than lighter stuff.

The point is, you're going to fit more than 100 albums on a 10GB hard drive at
quality 3.5.  I guarantee it.
