As far as peeling is concerned, my version will do no more
or no less than a standard RC2 encoder.

As far as I understand things, the problem is that for good peeling the
peeler should know about the psychoacoustics. This is undesirable, so the
ogg must be structured so that the peeler can know what to remove without
actually analyzing the sound.

If this is correct, wouldn't it be possible to actually make a smart
peeler that doesn't need 'outside help' to peel good?

Is this correct? Can someone give some more details about how peeling
actually is supposed to work?
