This is one of those samples were RC2 point/phase stereo
goes bonkers. And it's _really_ bad.

Based on what I hear, I'd suspect you're not hearing
a lack of bass, but rather WAY too much on the high end
which is masking out all bass.

Could you please get the ogg from:

http://sjeng.org/ftp/vorbis/

and tell me if it sounds better for you?
