Actually, mine runs cool to the touch, and it's not even in a drive cooler.
Given that the next fastest drive in the universe is over 20% slower (in
IOMeter, which is one of the only useful drive benchmarks), I think the $350
pricetag is justified.
Anyway, in the comparison we're talking about, the price difference between
the two machines would absorb the cost of the hard drive. I think that's the
point of the discussion, actually. ;)
