[vorbis] Are AMDs preferable? [was: Choosing a processor]

Hardly scientific or complete, but the Alpha's appear to rule as might be
expected for a CPU specialized for FP. The lack of any specifics is very
disappointing and disqualifies the data for any real usefulness. Socket A
Athlons are still the best for the money if tuned properly for FP, especially
the 133FSB TBirds with DDR (or even PC133, which can often be overclocked).
