[vorbis] new mailing list - advocacy@xiph.org

Rather off-topic and no big deal, but this might be interesting for the
one or the other.

Majordomo mailing lists seem to work all the same (at least most of the
time), so for (un)subscribing I tend to use the standard way which
doesn't need any special mail accounts on the server side (like
vorbis-request at ...) - and it worked perfectly for advocacy at xiph.org:

mailto:majordomo@<somewhere>, e.g.
mailto:majordomo at xiph.org

in the mail body:

ubscribe <name_of_list> <your_desired_email_account>, e.g.
subscribe advocacy

... if you're sending this mail from the account you want to use for the
list.

This also works fine for unsubscribing, just use "unsubscribe" instead
of "subscribe". That's it, very easy, and one doesn't have to 'learn'
any special and "userfriendly" ways that differ from what people are
used to. ;-)
