[vorbis] Open-source DirectX-like

Hi everybody
Some times ago, I read something about an open-source replacement for
the DirectX API, thus allowing most of the games to be played under
any OS, if this nw API was massively adopted. I do not remmember its
name, i only know it is develloped by Lokigames' founder. Do you know
anything about that?
