More so than nulls :-) But one of the rules of thumb for deciding whether a 
new standard field is a good idea is 'will it look ok just dumped to 
stderr?', and if you decided to add 256 characters of padding so later on you 
could add everything from the liner notes including the name of the lead 
singer's cat, then all the interesting information is liable to scroll of the 
screen :-)

Still, as a potential standard field proposal goes, it's got a lot going fori 
it.
