As God said, to convince people to switch over to Ogg it'll
not only have to be free but significantly better.

Most of the rest of the world does not think in terms of free and
nonfree, but this is a sad fact we have to live with. Many people
feel pleasant in their situations and prefer not to tackle the
small issues that switching to free software could bring.

Instead we should try to show them what advantages free software
brings, and they will come by themselves.

Ogg does not have to rely on its freedom to be 'better'. It can
compete with the best proprietary solutions and top them in terms
of features. So on the contrary, it rather shows what advantages
freedom can bring.

I am quite certain more people have been converted to the
free software ideas by seeing what they could produce rather
than by the ideas themselves.
