i'm involved with the tech collective of the San Francisco IMC.  in the past,
we have discussed Vorbis. i would say that a public release (beta or stable) of
the 2.0 version of Icecast would be a good step toward IMC adoption of Vorbis.

the people i have met and talked with who are involved with the Independent
Media Centers are definitely interested in the opportunities for freedom
provided by Ogg Vorbis.

i would also love to see the mp3s and realaudio files become less common on the
IMC systems.
