I see the "s" in "sponsors"...

Possibility..:

You:
    - Form a "Corporate Sponsor" program
        - that allows the sponsor to:
                - get early beta, and production releases
                        features, add-ons, utilities etc.
                - use some "to be created"
                        "Patent-Free Vorbis Sponsor"
..logo, on their website, mention Vorbis
                            in promotions, etc...
                - sponsor is listed on the Vorbis website.
    - Charge the "Sponsors" according to their means...
        - peg it to corporate revenue
        - keep the percentage small, and seek larger
numbers of sponsors.. wouldn't need too many..

Possibly Also..

    - Form a "Website Sponsor" program
        - that allows the sponsor to:
                - use some "to be created"
                        "Patent-Free Vorbis Website"
..logo, on their website, mention Vorbis
                            in promotions, etc...
                - sponsor is listed on the Vorbis website.
    - Charge the "Website Sponsors" a small sum.. $100/yr
        - hey, (see http://mp3licensing.com) Franhoooofer's doing
            this.. except they want $15,000/yr....
        - may sound crazy, but I really think you can sell stickers
to websites for (maybe?) $100/yr... And then you have
a great list of your supporters on the grass roots level..

..sorry if this is too crazy for this list... ;-)
