My feeling right now is that in the 64-96 kbit range WMA tops mp3 at the
same bitrate, but with a good encoder mp3 starts to edge out wma at
128kbit and clearly wins at 160kbit.

Below the 64 kbit level I think real audio's low bitrate codecs start to
take the lead.
