When I did the merging of the two at HA, I noticed that none of the
tunings from GT3 were in the 1.1 rc1 source code.  They cause very wild
fluctuations in bitrate so I guess Monty doesn't like that solution to
pre-echo. :)

Oh yeah, when are we going to see coupled 5.1 stereo? :)
