[vorbis-dev] RE: [vorbis] vorbis streams keep buffering.

Hi Hank

I get the same problem when using the SQRSoft crossfading output plugin.
Changing to the Wave Out or DirectSound plugins fixes it. Perhaps this
is your problem.

While discussing Winamp, I'm not sure if Peter Pawlowski still frequents
this list but the in_vorbis.dll v1.35 has a problem with vorbis streams
that are interrupted at the source, or if bandwidth shortages occur --
Winamp crashes dead. On a bad internet day, it can crash every few
minutes listening to a high bitrate vorbis stream. It is very annoying.
I've had to revert to listening to the Real Audio stream instead on
these days.

I've told Nullsoft but they do not seem willing to do anything about it.
This had been tested on many PC's from Win98 to WinXP, Winamp 2 and
Winamp 5. Is there anything that can be done from higher up the Xiph
ranks to get this sorted out? Perhaps help Xiph.org fix the code?

Regards,
Ross Levis.
