<Hi All,

OCX which can play the ogg file in MS windows perform?

The easiest way to play Ogg Vorbis files on Windows is
- winamp ; Vorbis support since 2.80 i guess ( not sure about version nr. )
; dont use winamp 3, its buggy and bloated IMHO
- Vorbis Directshowfilters : http://tobias.everwicked.com ;
http://sf.net/projects/mediaxw ; they will allow you to play Ogg Vorbis
files in every Dshow based Mediaplayer, and there is a lot of them ( good
old Mediaplayer 6.4 works nice ) ; Unfortunately Ingo retired from the
mediaxw project completely, so there isnt much update to the filters on
sourceforge since almost a year ( or only on his HDD @home i'd say ) ;
however, the other filter from Tobias Waldvogel isnt opensource yet, but
freeware and widely used, as it comes along with a mediaformat
implementation based on OGG, called OGM.
About Windows players : 'The Core Media Player' should go public beta soon
( www.corecodec.com ), it will allow you to register .ogg as usable
extension on Windows without any major hassle, and it comes with a nice
equalizer and playlist support for audio use.
Hope this was helpful.
