[vorbis-dev] Smallest possible file.

We will eventually be recording the file in real-time. I have downloaded the
dev stuff but have not looked at it yet. Will I  be abile to convert it to a
lower sampleing rate in RT and then compress it with ogg? Will I know I can
do it with some math but is it easy to do?

What is the samplerate of the file you want to compress?
Have you tried compressing 8000 Hz files with -q0?

I think what is being done is optimizing for low samplerates.
AFAIK, Vorbis is as optimized as it can for 44.1 KHz files, and
-q0 is the smallest you will get in that case, unless you use
-M n, but then the sound can't be as good.
