Once everyone thinks we've got all the version strings, I will tag the
code.

Would some friendly RedHat developer, preferably one familiar with RPMs
please volunteer to assist us in creating sane RPM packages?  The spec
files should be mostly in order, but none of us have actual RedHat
boxes.
