I think that maybe a DNS problem.  IIRC, the xiph CVS server checks both the
forward and reverse DNS mapping, and if that doesn't work (i.e. they don't
match), you don't get in.   I had a problem a while ago when my ISP's DNS
server was messed up, although there was mention of removing this
verification from the CVS server, I don't know if it was actually removed.
Hope that helps.  BTW, I did check and the server is up.
