^^^^^^^^^^^^^ hmmm. I wonder...
The multicast support that I can see is jack's comment in the
realplayer plugin README that
"Streaming doesn't seem to work but should soon."
(Since the code seems more recent than the README, should this
README comment be updated?)
It looks to me like RealServer would wrap Ogg in RTP.
Why bother with Ogg if multicasting via RTP...
Was this just a convenient programming choice to simplify the code?
Are there any fundamental "framing and packet-separation mechanisms"
(see oggstream.html) that RTP cannot provide?
Or are there bonuses (e.g.resync after packet loss??) that Ogg
provides that RTP does not [easily] provide?
