[vorbis-dev] Integer only encoding

I'm curious if vorbis encoding can be done on an integer only processor.  
Decoding seems to be possible given all the embedded hardware players.  I
assume these players use integer only processors.

What I want to do is do encoding on some sort of embedded processor.  I
understand encoding is more CPU intensive than decoding.  But if it could
be done without an fpu, then it would be easier to find a higher clock
rate DSP.

Any thoughts?
