Both. vorbis-over-sockets and vorbis-over-rtp.

MPEG does not use this approach, it has audio/mpeg for asynchronous xfer
and audio/MPA for RTP. This situation is to be avoided in future RFCs so
thats why all the trouble.

Not necessary I think, there are for example audio/mpeg which do not
reference any RFC for the format, but the ISO doc.
