Mike is a little confused.

libogg, as it stands, deals with multiplexed streams just fine.  What
it does not currently give you is any automated means of handling
them; libogg is all machinery and no controlling logic.  All that's
missing is a control layer over the top.

That said, libvorbisfile is the lib that will deal poorly with
non-degenerate streams.  As full multiplexing will be a post 1.0
feature (the first one), we're leaving the 1.0 decoding with only
handling the degenerate stream case (degenerate stream == one media
type).
